Beautifully located in the San Gerado de Dota valley on the Savegre River. Perfect cabin, large, clean, comfortable, with a terrace facing the river. Even the quetzal stopped by. The birdfeeder attracts hummingbirds and many other birds.

Great location at the foot of the river and close to the birds. A tour can be done via the lodge if you wish. There are several other dining options within walking distance.

The lodge we stayed in (2-bedroom family) is not one of those that has been renovated. It is very correct, but could have the same rejuvenation as the others which were probably built afterwards.

The new cabins are spacious, bright, friendly, with very comfortable and warm beds, very clean, with a balcony facing the river and the sunrise. There is a refrigerator, kettle and a French press coffee machine. Ground coffee and tea were provided. The breakfast is very tasty and extensive. The outside terrace has a direct view of the river - beautiful. We were in particular contact with Angie, who helped us with our sometimes lengthy problems with great patience and fluent English. Great service! Thanks!!!
